Imogene A. Gillespie

I am so sorry to hear (just recently) about my dear former neighbor's passing--Imogene was a special lady and was a comfort and a joy to have next door for so many years. I am sorry I never got around to visiting her in her new home, but she has been in my thoughts often. Prayers go out to the family; I know you are all missing her. I will always remember her keen sense of humor and her sincere kindness. I don't yet know what heaven is like, but I'm sure everybody there knew it when she arrived!

Kenneth, sorry to hear about your mother's passing. Even as young as I was I still remember her humor and smile, she was a wonderful friend to my Mom and Dad.

I will always remember mamaw, she always had my up most respect and love, she was like a grandmother to me and my brother and sister. I still remember those good ole days on shepherd st with her and my mom sitting in the front yard drinking coffee and laughing and doing her min pearl imitation. She always made us feel special.
