Cheryl, Josh & Chase, I did not ever meet you all but I did know Teddy since he was about 10 years old. He played Little league Baseball with my youngest son Steven. He was such a sweet loving boy and always like one of my own. When we were at the ball park he would help take care of my youngest child by pushing her around the park in her stroller while Steve was playing ball so I could watch his game. I wanted to let you know I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with all of you and I hope you can take comfort now that he is safe and happy and well and in the arms of Jesus.

Teddy was surely one of a kind. He always had a mischievous smile as he loved to tell his nephews and nieces jokes or stories, and they were usually funny things to get them into some trouble!! He surely enjoyed that. I think that is my favorite memory of Teddy! Teddy fought hard with his cancer and never let it get his sense of humor! Teddy was so proud of his boys!! And he certainly cherished the love of his life, Cheryl. We are here for you if you need anything at all!!

I have such great memories from Jr High and High School of Teddy and our gang.
Although I hadn't spoken to Teddy for many years, reading his obit I could tell he grew up to be a fantastic man and wonderful father.
My thoughts are with his family.

"Blessed are the Peacemakers for they shall be called children of God." Matthew 5:9 Teddy was a peacemaker indeed.
I pray that God will continually comfort the Ratcliff family. Teddy has done well in his short life and I'm sure there are many rewards in Heaven awaiting him.

Our hearts are heavy at the passing of our friend Teddy but rejoice in his victory! We give thanks to God for allowing him to be a part of the tapestry of our life. Our prayers for Cheryl and the boys are that the Peace of God will keep your hearts and minds in perfect peace; that the Grace of God will sustain you though the days to come and that the Love of God will be your constant companion.
