Richard E. Doornbos

To my cousins Jennifer and Lisa, may God comfort you at this time. Uncle Richard was one of a kind. I have a lot of fond memories of doing things with him when I was young. He will be missed.

My sympathies to Jenn for the loss of her father. I know she loved her daddy deeply and always wanted the best for him. I hope she and her family find peace in knowing that he is happy with his Lord.

Jennifer, you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you now and in the days to come.

Richard was an acquaintance for a brief period long ago, and even after more than 50 years, I still remember his hospitality, his friendliness and his jovial laughter. To the family, I offer my deepest sympathy during this time of grief.
