Sally & Susan, I was saddened to read of Gary's death. Sally, a memory just flashed across my mind. I was watching a basketball tournament on TV. The tournament was being held in Hawaii. The camera panned across the crowd, and there in their Hawaiian shirts sat Sally & Gary Cranor. I was so excited! Don't know the timing, so might've been during the California years. And Susan, I remember when you called to tell me you'd seen me on TV in California. Our big TV moments. Please accept my most sincere sympathy & cherish those happy memories. Patt Harrell

I really did not know your dad very well but I do have a story about him. Ann when you were an ASM you had a Christmas party at your Dads apartment in Beaumont. We were wall to wal with peoplel and I'm sure we all brought food when we started running low on ice Greta and I raided your Dads freezer . To our surprise and amusement we found box after box of frozen Brussel sprouts and no ice. We concluded that your Dad ate out most of the time. Love you and your family,Sue Burford

All I can think about is how happy Jesus is to greet one of his special children that served Him well. You were a bright star in my life and I will miss you so much and I weep for all those you left behind but we know Jesus says we will soon be together with Him and I believe that with all my heart so my dear friend until we meet again then our joy will be complete.
Sally and family our prayers are with you. I love you.

Gary aka Old Dad aka Paw Paw made me feel like a loved member of the family, even long before I was invited to marry in. His legacy lives on in his four terrific kids.

We were so
sorry to hear of Gary's passing. It has been years since we were "backyard neighbors". We think of that time with fondness. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I knew Gary in high school. He is remembered for his optimism, quick wit and great sense of humor. He has touched so many lives and is going to be missed.

It's hard to believe he's gone. You think someone has so much time left and then all of a sudden it slips through your fingers, like sand. I think the thing all miss most about my grandfather is his sense of humor. The world just won't be the same without his warm laugh or jovial smile. I"m thankful for all the great memories I'll have of him (there were a lot!) and sad that I'll never have any more. I'll miss you Paw Paw.

You and your family have been in our thoughts the past few days. You were blessed with a wonderful, loving, giving Daddy. We will continue to pray for you and your family.
