Mark Anthony Hale

Sulyn, Emily, Sarah, and Friends,

I was so sad and shocked to hear of Mark’s passing. I had known Mark for 15+ years as a vendor to Conns. Mark became more than a customer and I considered him a good friend. I visited with Mark on many occasions. He had a great spirit and he would do anything for anyone. I remember the first time we went offshore fishing. The weather was nasty and the seas were rough. I had never been before and I wasn't sure what to expect. It wasn't long after that I became extremely seasick. Mark was there for me. He took care of me like a brother and made sure I was OK. It was so easy to like Mark with his warm teddy-bear like spirit. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to spend time with him for a couple of days in September. I have never known a better fisherman than Mark Hale. I will always remember and cherish the times I had with Mark. I love you and miss you Bro!

Through the years I have had the pleasure of meeting his wonderful family, several friends and some of his Conns family. I share in your sorrow at his passing and I am praying for you all. I also look forward to fishing again with Mark someday on the banks of the Jordan. Warmest Blessings to All!

I cannot put into words how sorry we all are to hear of Mark's passing. We just saw you guys. I just cannot believe it! Every time I saw him he would say how proud he was of you and the girls. He would just light up talking about you all. I am sorry that I will not be back in town until Saturday and cannot be there for you or give my condolences in person. I know my family will there for you all. Sulyn, please know if there's anything at all I can do for you and or the girls, please do not hesitate to call. We love you guys!
