What can I say about a MAN I knew so well. He was a MAN who loved his wife, my sister , with all his heart. Joe did live the cowboy life and he enjoyed that life. I know he is not hurting anymore. I also know that he is in HEAVEN with all GODS other ANGELS. See you later Joe. I'm here with Debbie.
Love You Brother-n-law

I have known Joe for the better part of 10 years. We had our ups and downs; but, you allways knew where you stood with him. He was a straight shooter. I will miss his friendship, his humor, and all around love of life. He allways had to be working on something. If not at his job, it would be around the house or with the horses. The world has lost a great man and I have lost a true friend. Rest in peace and be with God now, Joe

I want to extend my deep heartfelt sympathy to all of Joe's family, especially his devoted wife, Debbie, my life-long friend. Joe's memory will live on in each of you & in the love you share for each other. I will continue to keep you in my prayers at this difficult time. Rest in peace, Joe.

Joe Short was an integral part of my upbringing and always pushed me to a strong, hard-working, respectful man. He will be missed and it was a blessing that I got to speak to him before he passed. I look forward to see him again in the presence of our Lord! Isaiah 57:1-2 Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die. (NLT)

As we sit back and reminisce about Joe we will think of the good times we shared and the laughter around your table. When we think of Joe it will be of a strong man with strong convictions. He was true to his word. Also, we can't forget that when we remember Joe, Debbie will be right there in the memory. You were both a love story of soul mates. Dedicated to each other to the end. Rest in heaven, Joe. You deserve peace with your Lord.
