I met Robert in 1982 when I went to work at Neches Butane in Port Neches. Robert was always helpful when I had questions and he was one of the seasoned operators and will always be thankful for his help and friendship. I have many fond memories of "Daddy Rabbit" and will cherish those memories forever. My prayers go out to his family and may you rest in peace my friend.

Robert was one of the nicest gentlemen I've known. He was an asset to the Nederland Fire Department for many years. I enjoyed when he was a Volunteer there and I enjoyed selling him auto parts at O'Reilly (with a car club discount of course). I will miss him.

Expressing sympathy is always difficult, but all we can say is how sorry we are. May memories be a source of comfort at this time. Always remember that if you need us, we're only a phone call away. Love, the Arnold family.

Have know Robert since probably age 2. Quite a crowd of us on or near Thomas Blvd. born right at the end of the depression, mostly boys. Add Robert's dog Butch and we were right out of our gang in the movies. A lot of memories from those days. Robert's mom was my piano teacher which added to the bond.
Something not everyone may know is that Robert could probably have been a professional comedian. His delivery was incredible. He could talk about going to the grocery store and have you laughing so hard it hurt.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
