Betty Fertitta Kubala

Dr. Kubala and family,
I feel so privileged to have known Mrs. Betty and to have been able to spend time with her on several occasions over the years. She was truly one of a kind. She loved life and she loved her family dearly. I know that you are going to miss her very much. I think that she would say to you "Live your life to the fullest, no matter what is thrown your way." My thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the days and months to come. May God give you the strength you need to go on.

Betty was a good friend of mine while growing up in Galveston.
She was always the sweetest, kindest person I ever knew.
She was a lady! She was loved by everyone.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mrs.Kubala. She was full of laughter and love. Having the honor and privilege of working with you for the last 17 years in the O.R. I have had a chance to witness the love you have for her. The kind of love and dedication is truly admirable and inspiring to so many people. My heart saddens for your loss but I know Betty will have a smile on her face and will always be by your side.
