I will always treasure the years that Bro. Davis was my Pastor. Not only was He my Pastor growing up but Also became my friend as I grew older, got married, had my children. No matter where I saw Him, He was always interested in my life. A very kind and considerate soul! "Strike up the band Assemble the choir Another soldier's coming home Another warrior hears the call he's waited for so long He'll battle no more But he's won his wars Make sure Heaven's table has room for at least one more Sing a welcome song Another soldier's coming home"

There is an open gate at the end of the road, there which each must go alone and there in a light we cannot see our father claims his own. Beyond the gate your loved one finds happiness and rest and there is comfort in the thought that a loving God knows best. May the same God who has welcomed your loved one home keep you in his care through this difficult time. Thank you Bro. Davis for being our pastor for 25 years. You where more than our pastor, you were a friend. Sis. Coleman

Bro. Davis was the most humble man I've ever known, he and my dad where the two greatest men that ever walked the earth, no man will ever fill their shoes. Bro. Davis married me and my husband 40 years ago and we feel very blessed to have had him as our pastor. We lost dad (Hubert Coleman) a year ago January and I feel joy that he now has Bro. Davis to visit with him in heaven. Thank you Bro. Davis for always being there for me and my family.

What sad news. I am thankful for the years my brothers and I had under his guidance. The scriptures I learned in those years help me get through the days and I have fond memories of the teacher/pastor. The scripture I thought of when hearing the news: Psalm 42:1 As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for you, O God. Hope to see him again soon.
