Our next door neighbor for 12 years on 21st. We left 8 years ago and my children all still remember the kind "Mr" Brady. Pat thank you for being a great neighbor as you go on your last glorious cruise. A kind and generous man. Our condolences to the family.

Pat was my first boss at GSU, 1982-1989. Probably one of the best I have ever had.

I met Pat through my brother Weldon L. Smith who worked with him at Gulf States Utilities. Later he became my neighbor and walked by my house every morning. He was always upbeat and had a story about his travels. He will be missed.

Pat and Mary were wonderful friends and neighbors to us on 21st Street in Beaumont. I was also lucky to work with Pat at GSU for many years before he retired. A kind and intelligent man we were lucky to know.

I worked in and with Pat's group at Gulf States Utilities for several years. He was very knowledgeable about water chemistry and treatment and was always willing to help. He was a great guy and I enjoyed working for him and with him, as well as hearing about his many cruises!

May God wrap his arms around this family giving them the peace and strength they will need in the days ahead. Mickey, treasure the memories you have of your father. After losing my dad, I learned how precious and comforting memories can be.

I must say I was surprised to learn of Mr. Brady's passing. We frequently shared a pew on Sundays as well as a passion for cruising. I missed him this morning and thought to myself, "Well he must be off on another cruise." Well he was, he had set sail for the "Promised Land." I will miss you my friend. May God's grace abound to the family and may his peace keep your hearts and minds." Again, "Thanks for being my friend."
