Roy Priestley Porterfield

Pam, Spencer and Michael; I am so sorry for the loss of your father and grandfather. My heart is with you. Love to you all.

My heart is heavy this morning over the passing of Mr. Porterfield. Being friends with Pam since the 6th grade I practically grew up with the Porterfield family. Mr. Porterfield was a wonderfuld dad not only to his own kids but to all his daughter's friends as well. We always felt at home at the Porterfield house.

Mr. Porterfield was big and tall with a big and tall laugh and loved to sing his favorite country songs--whenever I hear the Auctioneer Song, I smile and think of Mr. Porterfield--he never missed a beat.

Love and prayers to the Porterfield family.

I was sorry to hear of Roy's passing.
Was in his graduating class, and knew quite a few of the Porterfields.
It is a shame people get scattered as I did to Kansas and you guys to Texas.
