I always loved seeing Roy at the Healdton High School Alumani get-to-gathers. Really missed seeing him the last couple of years. He was a dear friend to all of us and we always shared stories of our High School experiences, fun, and practical jokes. Jan Bray and I always enjoy laughs with him about those happy, youthful days. Roy was alway a good friend to everyone and I loved how he always looked like a Western gentleman, which he was. Good bye dear friend, until we meet again. Hylagene Haney Hart

Roy has been my friend since our grade school days. He was kind, generous and friendly to everyone his entire life. He was a noble person. He will be missed.

Roy, was my bestest friend!!! He was such a wonderful person!!! Many fond memories of us growing up in Healdton, Oklahoma. He will be missed by us all.

Could not ask for a better brother in law. Not just that but very good friend. My mother and dad looked at Roy as a son and not son in law. He worked very hard assisting dad with outside activities. Left Roy a message on his voice mail earlier in the week. When I did not get a reply quickly I knew something was very wrong. Have known him almost all of my 70 years. He will be greatly missed. My sincere thoughts go out to our family.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man, full of love for his family and neighbors. It was a pleasure to have met him when our daughter moved across the street from Mr and Mrs Porterfield several years ago.
