Jeff was a dear friend to my husband and me for 10 years, as well as a trusted right hand man of the apartment building we own and he lived in and took care of. He was kind, trustworthy, dependable, with a big heart and a fun sense of humor. We loved him and he will be sorely missed. Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones. RIP Jeff.

Jeff was a wonderful, lively and upbeat person. We are fortunate to have known him. His announcement that he was returning to Texas saddened us., but when he became ill we were heartbroken. His passing is a great loss for all that knew him. Our deepest condolences to Jeff's family. Sincerely, Vern and Dixie.

I have literally known you all my life...us growing up together in church. All the memories made in Sunday School, youth group, youth trips. There wasn't ever a time that when we didn't see each other we both didn't go up to each other and give each other a big ol' hug. I remember in high school when you worked at the shell station me and my friend would come by and hang out and talk with you. And then after school when you were in Austin I came to see you and we had the best time. But that was the last time we saw each other. And over the years I often wondered how you were and what you were up to. And I guess like we all do we may lose touch but I never forgot you. I really wish I could have seen and talked to you again, I wish we could have sat and caught up with each other, I wish I could have gotten one of your hugs. My heart is so broken...for your parents, family, friends. It's hard to understand why these things happen, especially to those who we love and had so much more living to do. I will cherish my memories of you always...and I know one day I will see you again and when we do we will both give each other a big hug! I love you Jeff... Laura---

My deepest thoughts and prayers are with all of Jeff's family. I am so honored and grateful that I was able to meet you all when you were here. My heart breaks for your loss. Jeff was an amazing, wonderful, kind person. He had one of the biggest hearts I know. I think we have all lost a piece of our hearts with his passing. Jeff, You were my family here in LA and made 1436 N Formosa Ave truly a safe and loving home. We had so many great times at your place - holiday get togethers, movies, meals, playing wii, Spartacus,True Blood....!!! I will miss so much about you...... Your kind and generation nature. Your special whistle. Your smile and laughter. You rocking out and singing with your amazing voice. Hearing you a mile away when you were coming home in your car and rocking out with your music. Calling me Miss K and Krazy K. Your elaborate methods in an attempt to try and scare me during Halloween but to no avail :) Hanging out from the windows in our middle area and chatting. Going back and forth about the Oleander bushes and me always freaking out about you cutting them too short. Margaritas on the deck. Grilling. Magic Mountain. I can go on for pages....there is so much....and I treasure each and every memory and moment I had with you. Everywhere I look I can still see & hear you, you will always be in my heart and your spirit will always live on here at Formosa. I will miss you so very much. Karen (aka miss k,krazy k)

Oh the sweet memories I have. Most of my memories are from church activities from the location on Steelton. Jeff..I can still see your smile as we all piled up in Hollis girls' car after church in the back gravel parking lot, on Sunday nights, after we had permission of course, from our parents. I really don't remember where we went, but I do know the car was packed. I can see Becky's smile and hear Cindy's laugh. I also recall SueEllen and John Timberlake being in there with us. I'm sure you sat on someone's lap and I doubt any of us were legally buckled up. John and Stuart would go too, but they were in their own cars. I could write a lot about those days for they were such happy times. Mom reminded me of the woodedn ornaments you and I painted on echristmas and she hung them on the tree for many years. I love you my friend and I love your mom and dad as well. I'm so thankful for special, sweet friends God gives us. Love to you and your family, Renee Nance

To the Thompson Family,
We count Jeff was a long-time friend, and "jack of all trades" in his ability to handle all sorts of renovation and construction-related projects. His attention to detail was impeccable, and his work of highest quality.
Jeff was a gentleman, through and through. Kind, courteous and caring in his communications and dealings with people. We will miss his wonderful smile, and his friendly, good-hearted nature. You can be so proud!
Warmly, Grace Cheng & Ted Braun
