Willie, Daina, Kathy, Chris, and family, Martha has been a treasured friend and prayer partner since we met teaching each other's children many years ago; she always had such a joyous countenance that I began referring to her rather than as Mrs. Ladd, as "Mrs. GLadd". Ben & I are deeply moved to have been able to visit with her, with you, just the other day, and pray and sing together with Martha. Prayers as the Comforter sustains you. ~Liz

So sorry for your loss. She and her wonderful sense of humor will be missed. I have a feeling she already has them in stitches in Heaven. May God give you peace.

My love to all of you. Martha was my very special friend, so that makes all of you very special to me. She has finished the race and crossed the finish line. Today she feels no pain or sorrow. "Then shall you cry, and the Lord shall answer. You shall cry, and He will say, 'Here I am.'" Isaiah 58:9
