Dear family & friends:
Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer you hold of Peggy in your heart. Peggy taught me to scrub surgical cases during Chistmas break my senior year of nursing school. She was one of the best instructors I ever had! Her laugh, her smile, and her humerous "life stories" that she shared with us will never be forgotten. She was a blessing to the Sisters of Charity and Beaumont's surgical community. May the love of Christ be with you! Rest in peace Peggy!

My heart is saddened to hear of Peggy's passing. I worked with her for many years at St. E. she taught me everything I know about being a great scrub nurse in surgery. I will remember her laughter the most. My thoughts and prayers to her family.

It is said that a man can count the number of seeds in an apple, but only God knows the number of apples in a seed. Peggy Long was very much like that seed. She touched the lives of innumerable people who have gone on to share her love, skill, and devotion to countless others.

I am a better person because Peggy was in my life. The world is a better place because she lived.

Rest in peace, my dear friend...

Lori, Rhonda, Doug and Charles, My heart breaks for all of your with the passing of your sweet, caring and loving Mother and wife. Peggy was like a second mother to me for many years growing up. Her smile and jovial laugh would light up a room. She was always so positive and spunky which I adored but she could lay down the law when she needed to! Loved that about her too. She will be so missed by all that knew her and please know that I am praying continuously for each one of you to have peace knowing that she is now in a better place free of disease and pain and she is being loved and held by our heavenly father. I love you.
