Dear Diane - Rudy's and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. You know how much your mother meant to my father, her nephew, Jack Smith, of Denver. I remember visiting Mary every time my family was in Texas visiting my mamma, Ruby, Mary's sister, in Woodville. We would always make a special trip to Beaumont to see your mother, and during these trips, I too came to love Mary. Years later, Mary definitely changed my life -- she might have even saved it -- during a difficult time I was going through, when her wise council and loving support made all the difference to me. I will forever be grateful to her. Diane, you have been such a dedicated daughter. And you have been through so very much this year. Please make sure to take care of yourself in the days and months to come. May the Lord bless you, and keep you, and grant you peace. Love, Jamelyn

David and Diane, I am truly sorry for the loss of Granny Gay, I know how much you will miss her. I would like to say that she was the BEST Mother-in-law a man could have ever wished for. She was a Fantastic Lady and Christian...now all her friends and Siblings will know that she did make it to HEAVEN. Prayers for all of her family members she left behind.
