Catherine "Cathy" Abalos

My thoughts and prayers are with Joe and the family. I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Abalos was an awesome woman, and I learned so much from her. She will be greatly missed and, as always, not too far from my thoughts. I modeled my mothering after hers and looked up to her wisdom.

Cathy was a very beautiful lady. I treasured her friendship. She always treated me as family.

To all the family, Sorry to hear about Mrs. Abalos. She was a special lady to me growing up in Winnie and right down the street. I have a lot of good memories of her and the family. I can still hear her rolling the homemade tortillas and then hollering for the twins to go wake everyone up! This will be difficult for all as I know. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

To the entire Abalos family, This lady was the perfect example of a wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend whoever had the pleasure of knowing her. I will always remember her with a smile, and words of wisdom whether I wanted to hear them or not! My fondest memories of your loved one will be good food, good company, a great cup of coffee to share with her, and a master of board games!
