Ken and family,
So sorry for your loss. Please know my prayers are with you and your family. I remember your father's smile from many years ago. It doesn't look like he ever changed.
God Bless all of you at this time.

I have such fond memories of Uncle Hal and his lovely wife, Aunt Margret. My Mom, Hal's sister Marge, would take my brother Rick and me to Texas for week long visits. These trips were by train from Ohio at first. Then we moved to Virginia and the trips were mostly by car. My brother and I would play with Rusty and Ken almost the entire time of the visit. I have very clear memories of riding company tug boats with Uncle Hal, having his help skinning a rabbit we managed to kill with a BB gun and pigging out on the floor of their Gail Dr home on boiled shrimp till we were almost sick. I also clearly remember taking my Mom on a steamboat trip to Texas in 2008, just before she passed, and getting to spend time with Uncle Hal. These and many more fond memories will be with me forever. Our thoughts are with Ken and the rest of the family.

What a blessing to know Mr. McKinley for so many years! He and Mrs. McKinley were such great neighbors. We enjoyed seeing the new projects he had, and there was ALWAYS a new project ! We esp. loved the plant experiments, and sharing the bounty of the fruit/veges that he brought over. God bless you all.
I am moving in with Mama soon and can keep an eye on his place for you.

Dear Ken and family,
Your dad was one of my very favorite cousins on the DeMary side of the family tree - such a sweet man. I have such fond memories of him and your mom; they were so cute together. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this most difficult time. Love and blessings, Paula
