When we think of Mrs. Bordages, we will always be reminded of the way in which she told a story, with a twinkle in her eye, and filled with "southern" expressions, as only she could do so naturally.

Sammy was a great Cousun and friend. I enjoyed the many conversations we had and always liked being around her. May Her Soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed, rest in peace--AMEN

For over 30 years Sammie was my Mother-in-Law and I always considered it an honor to know her and be able to call her--Mother. She was a caring person that loved her family and many friends and she will be missed.
