William Alex Broussard

Marie. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I count myself so fortunate that I was able to have some moments in time with you and your Alex.

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the entire Broussard family. I always enjoyed seeing Alex at the NSM meetings (now Selected). He was always friendly and encouraging to me. mI particularly enjoyed watching him when he was in the presence of his long time friends in the group...you could see on his face how he loved and enjoyed them. He represented, to me, the very best of our profession, and the absolute best of what my home state, Texas, represents. He was a true Gentleman. I will miss him.

Tom sorry to hear of your Dad death and Jim on losing an Uncle, will keep you both and your families in my prayers in the coming days.

Reading all the beautiful tributes reinforces our warm regard for Alex and Marie. May his laughter and genuine smile remain in the hearts of all who knew him and our deepest condolences to Marie and family. What a joy to have known him! His services to Rotary International throughout the years are but one of his many contributions to Beaumont. May your hearts be comforted always with the memories of Alex.

Alex and Marie have been a fixture at Selected meetings as long as I can remember and were always so nice and welcoming to all members of the organization! Our families have been friends for many years. We will surely miss Alex and our thoughts are with you all.

I always see the same image in my mind every time I think of Uncle Boo. I always see big brown eyes, full of expression and a very happy smile. I truly can't remember a time when Uncle Boo did not greet me or my family with a positive and sincere spirit. He always seemed to have a happy heart. My father and Uncle Boo's brother, James, loved him very much. We will miss you Uncle Boo. Love you Aunt Marie and we are thinking about you.

Mr. Broussard was a great example of the ministry of funeral service. I did not know him but my parents, Kathleen and Guy Thompson, had great respect for him. Rest in peace Mr. Broussard. I am certain that when you entered the kingdom you heard the words, "Well done my good and faithful servant." The world could use a few more folks like him.
