William Alex Broussard

On behalf of my family, BillThompson, Kevin and myself,
our hearfelt sympathy on the loss of Alex. We pray that the entire Broussard Family be comforted in the time of sorrow, we understand that the loss of a loved one can never be healed, but comforted by the memories and prayers. I knew him best through Rotary. May god Bless him and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Today we remember not only the man who died, but also, the honorable life that he led each and every day. I remember him fondly as a man who exemplified compassion to all he met; whether helping them live their life to the fullest or assist in the planning of their death. In my heart are the memories of many happy times spent growing up on Ivy Lane. I cannot begin to experience how difficult this loss is for you, please be assured that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have fond memories of chatting to Alex during our visits and especially of him remembering his time with my Grandfather in Winchester, UK - he was a superb and natural raconteur!!

Tom and all of your extended family--I can only imagine all of the thoughts that are in your minds tonight. I don't know all of the family well, but, Tom, the very fact that you have developed into the person you is a great tribute to your father. Please know that my thoughts and my prayers are with you as you work through your grief toward the days when wonderful memories lighten the cloud.

Dear Cousins,
Alex was a gentle and caring man who kindly escorted the broken hearts of my family through several losses. As a Beaumonter he shared vision, leadership and talent with our community, and it seemed the more he gave the more he was endowed. I am not surprised he earned a Bronz Star for sharing his valor for our country as that was his nature. His life is an inspiriation and makes me proud to be one of the many Broussard descendants. While his body is spent, today his spirit celebrates a joy and unity with our Creator.
