My sincere condolences on the death of Alex; he was 'Boo' to me when I was growing up in Beaumont, and my 'hero' when I was still in High School and he at A&M. Many good memories will live on in my heart!

My sympathy is with the family, as your family's sympathy was with my family when my father passed away three years ago. It is true that Mr. Broussard is remembered in every kind act that his family performs because it is through the father that the sons are who they are...
Your family treated us with the dignity and compassion that any father / brother / uncle / grandfather could be proud of. Thank you for your blessing upon my family at the most difficult time.

Tom and family: I have very fond memories of sitting with your dad at Rotary lunches years ago and always got a big smile when I would see him at church. He was always a gentleman and treated us with such compassion when dad died in 1990. He was of "that generation" of hard working men who loved their families, their church, and their community and we are all better people for knowing him. God's peace be with you all.

Dear Marie, Tom and family, My prayers are with all of you during this time of loss. Alex was such an inspiration to all of us, especially those in the Beaumont Rotary Club. We're all blessed if we get to know just a handful of truly wonderful peoply during our lives. He was one of the few I can count in that group. May the Lord bless and keep all of you. KEN

I will recall fondly the Mr. Broussard I knew as larger than life on the Beaumont stage, as well as the loving father I saw through Marian's adoring eyes. I am grateful to have been in his presence and felt his generous spirit that permeated his welcoming household (thanks to Mrs. B, too!) when I was in high school and jumped on trampoline, played pool, and tried not to upset Heidi. The world is a lesser place without him.

Dear Broussard Family, I pray that your family is overwhelmed with support from the community of friends and families that you have served for generations. The Broussard family is geared to support others in their grief and I hope that you will allow these families to return that to you as a gift. Mr. Broussard touched many lives and I pray that as a family you are drawn close to share your grief, tears, and sorrow along with joy, laughter, and some good ol’ story telling (I am sure there are many).I pray that you find comfort in the knowledge of our salvation. Husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and caretaker of the community, his life is worthy of celebration. Well done Boo, well done.
