I have no childhood memory after the accident.
A accident that no one know what happen to me.
I only remember the lone struggle and my life
has not been an easy one.My Dad always was there
for me in his own way..
There are certain things that trigger my past and
memories.Like the smell of certain oil ,I can see
my Dad in his OD green garrison fatigue.
I encourage him to fight, till sicknes took him away
from us.I love him so much and he will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to my Aunt Louise and all my cousins (Joe, Dennis, Jean, Judy, and David) my heart goes out to you and all your family for your loss of this wonderful man. I have many fond memories of you all when we were growing up, especially the times we spent at Granny's house in Colmesneil. I can not tell you how great it was to spend the day with Uncle Troy and Aunt Louise in August. It made me realize that true family love never dies. I love you all very much. Aunt Louise may God give you the strength to carry on without your beloved husband. He was truly a great man. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time in your lives. He will be forever in my heart. Please know I am with you all. Sincerely, Eden Guthrie Voigt

To this day I can still remember the smell of starch on Daddys army fatigues as I snuggled up close for him to read me The Pokey Little Puppy countless times. I learned about God as he sat with my sister and I on the couch reading from the family bible. Dad kept all of us kids on the water either fishing, crabbing or swimming. It's hard to go home right now without breaking down in tears because I know he's not there at the house any longer but his memories are. He wasn't worried about himself when he was sick. He was worried about Mom and he said several times "Make sure you take care of your mother, don't forget about your Mom." I told him not to worry about Mom that we would all take care of Mom. This is so hard, I've lost several people within my life but the emotions of loosing your Father is not the same. Cayden and I will miss you greatly. I strongly believe in the Resurrection and I know we will see you again when Jehovah tells his son Jesus Christ to resurrect all of those lost to us in death. I Love You Always
