Smith Family,

First he was Mr. Smith (my friend), then he was Carl ( my father-in-law) and then he was Grand-Daddy. He always had a smile and hug for me. I will miss his twinkling eyes and smile which brightened even the darkest days. Thank you for sharing him with me over the years.

To all the Smith family I am very sorry for your loss. He was such a nice man. To Howard and Sandra it was always fun to see him and visit with your parents at scout events. I apologize for missing the visitation and funeral today. I found out about it and read the details during the funeral service. I did not know he died Tuesday. Condolences from Craig also. He was sorry to hear the news.

Mrs. Smith, Dr. Smith, Howard and Kirby... we are so sorry for your loss, and I am sorry that we are not able to attend his life celebration.
