I want to join my sister, Carolyn Gautreaux, in remembering Dick. Growing up, it seemed he was part of our family. He and dad, Herbert McCormick, spent countless weekends over many years together flying dad's plane, riding horses, hunting in the Texas hill country, and taking the boat down the river to fish. After dad passed away, Dick would drop by the home to give mom candy. We all enjoyed spending time with him and Alice.

Dick was my Uncle and Godfather. He was a very kind and generous man. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word. My family has many fond memories of Dick throughout our lives. I will miss our occasional chats on the phone.

My family knew Dick very well and for a long time. Dad and Dick spent many hours together fishing, hunting, riding horses, and flying their planes. He was such a nice person and he will be missed by all the McCormicks.

Although many years ago, I remember going to Dick and Alice's house and always having fun. They were good friends of my parents and they all got together with friends often. Dick was always a sweet fellow and anyone that new him loved him.
