Pat, Susan, Jackie, Carl, Johnny and Bill,
Words can not express how sorry I am. I will always remember Paul's smile......he could light up a room. No nicer man around. I have fond memories of Keating/Scott gathering. Good memories are what we need to hold on and our loved ones will never be gone.

To the Family of Mr. Paul Keating: My payers and thoughts are with you at this time. I totally understand what you are going through. What can one say about a man that has been a household name for eons. Growing up in Winnie, I can remember Mr. Paul calling my dad and saying to him "Lawrence, I might have a car down here that you might be interested in." And my dad would go down to Keating's and 99 percent of the time my dad would come home in a new car. I don't think that there are too many people from Chambers County and surrounding counties that haven't got a car from Mr. Keating at one time or another. He was known for his fairness and honesty I have known him for over 50 years and whenever I talked to him, he always asked about my family. I never heard him talk bad about anyone nor put any one down. He treated everyone equally no matter how much that person's bank account was. He is an icon to the Winnie- Srowell area and surrounding counties and will be sorely missed Rest In Peace Mr. Keating. Instead of driving up in Heaven in a gold Cadillac, Mr. Paul is driving around in a gold Chariot.

Our hearts are heavy at the passing of a dear friend. Mr. Keating was a wonderful person who always had a smile for everyone no matter who you were. His compassion for others always shined in everything he endeavored to do. This community has lost a true friend. His passing will be felt for years. Mrs. Keating, we are praying for you and your family and ask God to give you peace as you face the days ahead. God bless you all!
